St. James Parish Hospital treats pediatric, adult and elderly patients. Because of our small size, we are able to provide personalized care to you and your family. Our Nursing Staff has adopted this Vision in Nursing Excellence:

St. James Parish Hospital offers swing bed services allowing an extended stay to achieve goals for discharge.

Respite Care Services are also offered to individuals over 18 years, whereby a home like atmosphere is created. Care is provided within our hospital while caregiving family members enjoy a break.

Out-Patient
At St. James Parish Hospital we realize that continuous care is an important part of maintaining good health and well-being. We work together with independent physicians who specialize in orthopedics, podiatry, and surgery, cardiology, urology, gastroenterology, oncology and physical medicine to bring sub-specialty care to our community. Clinic hours are available here at St. James Parish Hospital.

Out-patient services are provided when a physician prescribes such treatments as intravenous administration of medications, and fluids injections, blood administration, and intravenous port maintenance. Consider utilizing St. James Parish Hospital for services within your community.
